May hooray!

Hello dear readers. I feel like May went whoosh and I didn't even do that much according to my photos.

First of all, I took a day off after I had dealt with the post field days packing. I used a dine and discover voucher on lunch and dessert and read a book. I have been reading Refresh, but decided to dip back into Frugal Hedonism for to wash away some materliasm.

A week later I had another day off, because I just kept not wanting to go to work. I cleaned a few windows and did a bit of gardening. Decided to leave the fly screen off this window for a while as I'm not opening it much in winter and I now have a lovely clear view of the garden.

I removed my zinnias and eggplants. The eggplants were not well polinated this year but the one fruit that did set was PERFECT and ENORMOUS.

Took the last bunch in to work.

The puzzle table has continued to be very successful for making the office a bit socially cohesive. We finished the second puzzle which was much harder.

I have done a couple of puzzles at home. While I eat breakfast or dinner. I have had a few people over - girls after church, or a Tocal student, and it's good having a puzzle to sit around and talk. Very cosy.

Speaking of cosy, I bought 6 mens tee shirts at TK Maxx. Very happy with the thickness of the cotton and overall fit and durability of these clothes. Much better quality than a women's tee shirt I recently bought.

Managed to pull my little music team together for a practice of our 3 songs for women of truth, there was some anxiety of sickness and scheduling but we had fun and did a good job. I enjoyed the conference a lot as had more time and brain for other things than music.

I made my best loaf of sourdough after the conference, I extended the process over the previous night because it's colder.

Had a lovely dinner at JK and Dan's house with their friends, and a quiet Sunday, and May was done!
